Centering Prayer is a simple method of silent prayer, a form of prayer with ancient roots in the mystical and monastic traditions of Christian faith. It can lead to a deeper prayer life, personal healing, spiritual transformation, and a closer union with God. This introductory series will include presentations on the origins and practice of Centering Prayer, doing Centering Prayer and reflecting on the experience.

concentrates on what may happen when we are faithful to the practice.
The evening sessions will include presentations, excerpts from Thomas Keating’s Centering Prayer DVD’s, practice and reflection. Although the classes are being offered as a follow-up to the Centering Prayer I series,anyone with basic knowledge of Centering Prayer meditation is welcome;ideal for long-time practitioners who wish to expand their understanding
and practice as well.
